Habitat

Variety of environments. A very tough plant which does well on a wide range of soil types – sandy, clay, sandy loam, clay loam.

Habit

Small evergreen perennial shrub. Tolerates light frost and is drought resistant.  Prefers a sunny to light shade position. The soft blue-green foliage responds well to pruning. An excellent hedge.

Characteristics

Is a great low maintenance plant. Plant in dry, well-drained and moderately moist sites.

Wildlife

It has small mauve flowers in spring which attract butterflies and native bees.
