Sclerophyll woodland and forest. Sometimes on disturbed sites, on sandy and stony soils.
Small, hairless, more or less erect shrub to about 50cm high.
Prefers well-drained soils and dappled shade or partial sun. Tolerates full sun, frost and extended dry periods.
Deep blue flowers, summer-autumn.
From seed or cuttings.
