Native Plant Giveaway 2022 - Plant Pickup
Plant orders for this year's Native Plant Giveaway have now closed for another year, we received over 160 plant orders and over 2,000 native plants. Those who placed an orders they will be available for collection on Saturday 25th June at the Thurgoona Community Centre at the Thurgoona Community Centre between 10am and 2pm.
The aim of this project is to promote community members to plant native plants in their yards to increase vegetation across the Albury area, thus expand habitat for our precious local wildlife. The Landcare group has provided 17,676 native plants to the community since the inaugural year back in 2016.
This project has been made possible through AlburyCity's Community & Cultural Grant program.
