Join us on Saturday 18th July for a morning of planting at Wirlinga. We will be planting a mix of trees and shrubs at sites that were planted last year. This infill planting is part of Woolshed Thurgoona Landcare’s Connecting Landscapes project, supported by Albury City Council.
The goal of the Connecting Landscapes project is to restore the critically endangered Grassy Box Gum Woodland by creating habitat corridors that enable wildlife to move more freely across the landscape. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just keen to get involved in caring for our local environment, everyone is welcome!
WHEN: Saturday, 18 July 2026 10:00am to 12:00pm
WHERE: The planting will take place off Rocky Hill Retreat which is off Pastoral Lane. Directional signs will be in place on the day along Pastoral Lane and at the site entrance to help guide participants.
WHAT IS PROVIDED:
• All tools for planting
• Refreshments
WHAT TO BRING:
• Wear sturdy shoes and bring your own gloves, hat and sunscreen.
• Children must be supervised at all times.
