Characteristics
Short-lived. Seldom abundant. Readily hybridises with Creeping Saltbush (A. semibaccata). Relatively palatable and generally readily grazed by stock, but doesn"t contribute greatly as a fodder.
Land protection
Useful for colonising eroding soils. Provides cover for establishment of other species.
